Pinnell Busch is happy to announce that Jim Omundson became a principal shareholder of the company this month. Jim heads up construction claims and has promised some positive changes to the company, starting with the ping pong table he brought into the southern office.
This month saw back to back presentations, on the 23rd & 24th
First up, on October 23rd, Steve Pinnell and Jim Omundson presented a training seminar titled “The Fundamentals of Construction Contracts in Oregon” for Lorman.
The next day Steve Pinnell, Jim Omundson and Greg Mockford presented “Construction Project Overview” at the Oregon State Bar’s Construction Law Annual Meeting. The hour long training session gave a “30,000 foot perspective” of how a project moves from the design phase, through the construction phase to beneficial occupancy.
This month we are pleased to announce that Pinnell Busch has welcomed Ben Goerges to the team as an assistant project manager.
Ben received his bachelor’s degree in construction management and has over 10 years of experience in commercial construction. As a member of the construction defects team, his primary responsibilities include investigating construction defects claims, report analysis and destructive testing documentation.
On August 8th, Steve Pinnell and Blake Marchand were joined by Andrew Gibson of Stoel Rives to present a training session on “The Art of Negotiation” at the AGC Summer Convention in beautiful Sun River near Bend, Oregon.
Next, on August 12, Steve Pinnell and Blake Marchand presented a training seminar on construction delay claims , hosted by the Oregon State Bar and Smith, Freed, and Eberhard.
