John has extensive experience in project management, design development, and project oversight. He joined Pinnell Busch in August of 2013.
He has years of experience working in the construction industry, including ten years as an owner’s representative/civil construction inspector on public works infrastructure projects. John also worked as a land surveyor, construction field engineer, quality control representative, project superintendent, project manager, project engineer and owned his own construction company for eight years.
Over the last ten years, John has been the Owner’s representative/lead public works inspector for all phases of construction improvements at the Malone Sweet Airport and the MWMC Wastewater Treatment Facilities in Eugene, Oregon, as well as the Lake Oswego/Tigard Water Treatment Plant Expansion in West Linn, Oregon. John took the lead as project manager on several projects at the MWMC Water Treatment Facility over a four year period.
John believes in a team approach to project delivery and knows that the owner, design team, contractor and project manager operate best working under the guidance of the owner’s project manager. He understands that on the owner’s behalf the project manager must help the contractor successfully complete the project. John also helps the owner understand the issues regarding change orders and pay requests so that the owner may make sound decisions.
