Ingredients

  • 250 grams of  baby spinach
  • Five or six medium size strawberries
  • One small red onion
  • optional: Two or three  slices of crunchy crisp bacon
  • Half Bowl /50 grams of  crumbled Feta(or goat cheese)
  • Fourth Bowl /50 grams of  chopped walnuts
  • Half  tsp of cardamom powder
  • Two tablespoons of  extra virgin olive oil
  • Two tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice
  • One-fourth teaspoon of salt
  • One-eighth teaspoon of fresh ground pepper

How to make SPINACH STRAWBERRY Salad

  1. In a small pan, keep the chopped walnuts and the cardamom. In a stove keep on medium-low heat, and toss the walnuts and cardamom for a minute until the walnuts start to brown a little brown in color and smell fragrantly toasted. Make sure that the walnuts don’t get burned, so stir them in a few minutes to ensure even toasting. Remove and let cool.
  2. Meanwhile, Wash, clean & dry the spinach and cut them into pieces without crushing them.
  3. Make the thin slices of the red onion and then add them to the spinach.
  4. Properly wash, and clean the strawberries by removing the stems, and after it is done add them to the spinach.
  5. Now add the chopped walnuts after they are cooled.
  6. If You want to add the chopped crispy bacon You can add it but adding the crispy bacon is totally Optional.
  7. Now sprinkle the goat cheese  or crumbled feta cheese
  8. To make it more Mouthwatering make a vinaigrette with oil, vinegar(or lemon juice), and add salt &  to the taste of the salad.
  9. Now Toss the mixture available in the medium-sized bowl to give a coating to the salad with the dressing, if needed add the salt by checking the taste.
